Dear Geraldine & Family, my deepest sympathy & condolences to you all on the untimely passing of Jerome. I have so happy memories of my early days in the 1970s working with Jerome in the Roads Dept Cork Corporation in room 335 City Hall. We enjoyed so many very happy times together there , where laughter & funny retorts always filled the air. Kit Foley & Dinny Mc , both also sadly passed & Jimmy Donovan , also formed part of the team. The regular guitar sessions from Jerome & Mags Dwyer we’re also highlights. . Jerome was a very unique person - .one of the good guys. Always chirpy & happy go lucky with a great sense of humour. These are days I have always remembered with a smile. In later years I had the pleasure of doing the annual stock take in the Stores Dept with Jerome, Geraldine, Seamus Walsh & others . More happy memories.
Jerome’s passing is our loss.
