I remember Jerry very well from his handball days at Ballyanne. The O'Byrne Cup was the most sought after trophy in the club in those days with large entries each year making winning it very difficult. Jerry won it in 1972 by beating Jim Doyle in the final after being close a few times previously. He was a sound guy who was well respected within the club. May he rest in peace.
