Having served with Jerry on both club committee and grounds consultative committee.His knowledge of the lease in Donnybrook and the way he fought to ensure the rights of both tenant clubs was protected and respected ensured Bective had a safe pair on hands in its corner. I enjoyed his company and debating matters Bective and he will be fondly remembered both for his sometimes matter of fact manner and detail and his sence of fun. Rest Well Jerry.

Jerry was one of life's quiet Gentlemen.
As a blow in of only 20 years to Bective he was always welcoming and his knowledge was encyclopedic.
We may not have always agreed on a particular subject but it was in the most agreeable fashion.
