Sincere Condolences to the Healy Family on the passing of Jerry. May he rest in peace

My deepest sympathy to Rosemarie (my old GP) and all Jerry's children (who I remember as friends of my younger siblings). Having had the very sad experience of burying my grandfather on the day of Jerry's funeral, I can only imagine the depth of your pain and loss. Jerry was an absolutely fantastic colleague and I really really enjoyed the work I did with him. He was the dream Senior... smart, engaged, responsive, inclusive, collaborative and fond of coffee and a chat. The only thing we couldn't agree on was that barristers should never marry barristers! (Still, I took it as a sign of his happiness rather than an attack on my own husband, whom he knew!)
R.I.P. Jerry, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you.

When getting a mass card for Jerry this week I gave his name to the elderly lady at the desk and added Edenderry. “We just use the name” she said “as God will know which Jerry Healy it is”. This couldn’t be more true in Jerry’s case as his smile, enthusiasm and energy was infectious. He really did brighten up every room he entered.

I had the great pleasure of being in the same year as Roemary in College and hence had ring side view of this dashing and vivacious young couple.The were a little controversial but they had come to entertain and what a sense of timing they had.
