You were a wonderful character,You were generous,kind and thoughtful to all your loyal customers who in time became your great friends, There's not many businesses owners can say that . You had an infectious smile that would light up a room. Thank you Jerry for everything,, It broke my heart to close the doors in Café Delights on Friday morning for the very last time,If only those walls could talk,A best seller for sure. Wonderful Jerry,
A native of Kerry,
A man from Tralee,
Always happy and merry;
He served with a smile,
In his lovely Cafe,
Great food,
Served with many a laugh.

I heard the news recently,
I hadn't seen him for a while,
But I remember his Cafe,
I remember his smile;
A wonderful man,
Always on the go,
Sending good vibes to his customers
Passing on his happy glow.

I do remember his bacon and cabbage,
Served with lovely hot tea,
All prepared by Jerry and his friends,
In his Cafe in Tralee;
God bless him and his family,
Now physically apart,
But his happy memory will live on,
In many a mind and heart.

Tralee won't be the same,
Without his friendly face,
And his lovely food,
Prepared in his magic place;
He's now with the Divine,
Preparing spiritual food so fine,
With lovely God,
Still making our life journies easier and fine.
