It was always a pleasure to meet Jerry when he’d visit from the States over the years. He walked the streets a few times a day and always had a witty word and/or a story. He was always in good form even when we’d call to see him in Áras Mhuire. He bore his illness bravely. May his gentle soul rest in peace in his Heavenly Home. Our condolences to his family

Sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Sheehy family on the loss of Jerry.
He was an integral part of community up at The Park for many years. A gentleman to his core, he was a very independent, unassuming, quiet man. He loved walking, and if you would ever meet him, his friendliness was infectious, you would always come away from Jerry feeling that bit better, as he he would usually come out with a quote about life. Very philosophical person. He was always in good form and just got on with life. He will be missed by us all in Ballygologue Park.

Say not in grief:
" He is no more", but live in thankfulness that he was.

May God grant his gentle soul peace, eternity and stature in heaven.

Thank you for all the memories in New York and in Ireland . We used to visit you on Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx . We watched the Mets with you and used to bring you back Mets hats and clothes . Mom and dad would rope you into babysitting us sometimes and there wasn’t much babysitting going on but we appreciated it . I thank Mom and Dad for always bringing us back to Ireland to see you . You loved us as well as our spouses and kids . We are so grateful for you always asking about and seeing your grand nieces and nephews . Tara Cian Kaitlyn Colin Michael and Addison . You are now with your twin Uncle John , uncle Marty and dad . There will be great stories told about listowel . Love you ,your favorite niece and goddaughter Kerry
