I met Jerry through calling into my shop in Listowel. Always a gentleman to deal with. Many a lovely story we shared, sincere condolences to his family, may Jerry rest in peace.

I worked with Jerry a number of years ago and was shocked and saddened to belatedly hear of his passing. He was a gentleman.

We were so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing here at Eason Thurles. Jerry made every visit to the store very personal and friendly. We felt we knew his whole family as they grew up over the years, he would be so proud telling us where they were and what they were doing. He will be sadly missed and our sincere condolences to his family. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

I met him a few months ago in Douglas and we had a great chat about the old days growing up in Ballinlough, going to Douglas Comm, football etc. Jerry as always was in great form, his easy going, friendly manner shining through. To phil and all the family I was shocked to hear of Jerry's passing .I was in spain at the time and I was bitterly disappointed I could not make the funeral. Jerry and I go back a long time together with tramore ath.i shared some precious memories with jerry in that time through good times and bad and jerry always had my back.everybody knows what a great person jerry was but they should also know that although jerry never kicked a ball for tramore he was a vital player in our senior team and was highly loved and respected by all the players in that team.mattie murphy ex tramore ath.

Barry i was shocked to hear of Jerrys passing. My sympathies to you and all the family. I met him back in February he was in great form full of life. We had a good chat about family, Tramore AFC ,Colaiste Muire school days, palling around in Lake Lawn and summers in Garryvoe.
When it comes to nice guys you wont get better then Jerry. He was a gentleman. May he rest in peace.
