It is with a deep sense of sadness and shock that I have heard of the passing of your beloved Jerry. I knew him so well many years ago as he used to call to the Bridge Road to visit my late father. They struck up a great friendship , mostly involved around watches, clocks and machinery of all types. My deepest sympathies to you Kitty and all your family members. I have fond memories of Jerry’s encyclopaedic knowledge of engines and we shared an appreciation of automotive design and all things mechanical from bygone eras.
The stories from our epic 90’s US road trip still provide great entertainment - from the access-all-areas White House tour to taking a six foot long chrome front bumper for a Ford V8 as hand luggage on the airliner home...!
