Very sorry to hear of Jill’s passing. Jill was a great teacher for us back in the days of Pres Bray. Jill always caught us out with her amazing ability to hear everything we said
I lovely woman, with a great sense of humour.

Mrs Doyle was my History teacher in Pres way back in the mid 1980s. An excellent teacher who took no prisoners !! SHe instilled a love of the subject which lasts still today. Condolences to her family on their loss and may she rest in peace.

Ms. Doyle was a favourite to all the lads, lean but fair, she would hide a smile well until she just couldn’t anymore, hence we always tried to make her laugh. Fond memories, an everlasting influence on my life. ❤️

As Marina's sister I too thoroughly enjoyed the company of Jill who travelled daily to Mater Dei Institute in her first year from Wicklow Town with a packet of biscuits to share at lunch before she succumbed to sharing a bed sit with us. We had wonderful times.

Jill and I met in Mater Dei Institute many moons ago and our friendship endured for over fifty years. We spent two summers in Chicago working there as J1 students in Motorola a television factory,a far cry from the classroom!
We shared many teaching experiences over the years.
Jill's final illness was such a blow but her family and indeed Jill faced it with bravery and fortitude. She was an example to us all.
Jill may be gone physically from us but she has left Laurence and her daughters and siblings with a wealth of memories and shared experiences of good times spent together.. May they console and comfort you as you grieve your heartfelt loss.
May Jill join her family in heaven in the knowledge that she always gave of her best to every task she undertook.
May you forever be at peace,dear friend.
