My condolences to the family and friends of Jim, a true gentleman and a great former boss - who wisely advised me in my early 20’s to take a career change which enriched my life many many years ago.. I have great memories of working with him in those wonderful days in Thomond College.

Our neighborhood is a little sadder with the news that Jim has passed away.

Jim was a thorough gentleman, a wonderful neighbour, full of kindness and always generous with his time as he stopped for a chat or gave advice to those that sought it.

We will miss his soft, lilting gentle northern accent and the smile that lit up when he greeted you.
