So sorry to hear of the death of Jim , my deepest sympathy to all his family . He stayed in my Bed and Breakfast for the past number of years coming to the Galway Races and how he enjoyed Galway with his 3 friends ,The last thing when he was leaving he would book the next year may he rest in peace

Jim was a mighty man in every sense. His sense of his roots in Ballinkillen Borris and Kilcloney were very deep, which instilled in him his values which were so eloquently and accurately capture at his funeral mass. I had the greatest respect for Jim as did my late father Willie who Jim visited regularly in Kilcoltrim, embellishing hurling stories ,in particular the history of the kilcloney club of which Willie was a founder member. MAY THE LIGHT OF HEAVEN BE JIM'S.
