Always one of the funest guys to talk to at the microwave conventions. Usually because we also talked about old motorcycles.

I met Jim only on a few occasions; however, I will always remember his friendliness and kind ways.
I offer my deepest condolences to his loved ones.

I had the opportunity only three Times to meet Jim. One in person in Catania and two times in conference call in brussels when i changed my life and my family as well. You need just few minutes to know what Kind of man is in front of you. Respect, patience, knowledge were some of the beautiful aspects of the character of Jim. Hello, I would like to offer Jim’s family and friends my heartfelt condolences on just hearing about Jim’s passing. My family and Jim’s knew each other for years in Haarlem but sure with all the day to day things in life, Jim and I eventually only caught up occasionally at the supermarket and always promising to catch up soon :( I knew Jim had health problems but was not aware of the seriousness. Anyway one thing I can honestly say is that he was one the nicest guys that l’ve ever met in my life. I am truly sorry and regret that I didn’t get to know him even better. I met Jim whilst travelling in Australia many years ago and have kept in touch ever since, visiting each others families in Haarlem and Oslo.
I remember Jim as a true gentleman, with gentle manners, lots of humour and a lot of pride and love for his beloved family.

As a collogue I had the pleasure to work with Jim. He was a very polite, calm, patient, and knowledgeable. I could always rely on him when I required his help. Especially his kindness struck me as he always remembered to be thankful. He'll be missed but never forgotten and I will make sure to adopt his kindness and thankfulness in his remembrance.

Jim has been with our company since January 2003 and has been instrumental in bringing Hi-Tech to where it is right now.

With his deep rooted RF & microwave knowledge, patience and diligence he instructed and advised many customers in the industry with the adoptation of state of the art modeling and device characterisation technology.

Besides his professionalism, Jim was above all a wonderfull person to work with. His kindness, creativity and genuine interest in people were one of a kind and will be missed most.


Jim was ill for many years, but despite that illness he kept going and he stopped working only recently.

We are truly grateful for all the work that Jim has done for our company and are proud that he was part of our team.

Not only Hi-Tech lost a team member, but we believe that the whole European RF and Microwave community lost a great mind.


The team of Hi-Tech wishes his wife Christien, his children Liam, Jimmy and his family and friends strength with the tremendous loss.

My Deepest Condolence to the Creed family for the loss and I shall pray to give all family member strength to handle the grief. Jim was a great person and very specialised engineer. I never forget the time we spent in pSemi, UK during loadpull training, your favorite baguette lunch and long discussion over the call and mail. His memories will be always in my heart, and I am deeply thankful for whatever I have learn from him. I am sure you are shining wherever you are with your intelligence and friendly personality.
