I worked in the Admissions office at St. Coleman's Hospital, Rathdrum, with Jim in the mid 80's and I am deeply saddened to read this notification of his death; which I came across, during my on-line search, as I was looking to reconnect, having recently returned to Ireland after many years. He was a joy to work with and he made me laugh every day, as he did also with the patients in the hospital, during our time working together.

May you rest in peace, lovely man. With love and fondest regards. Breda xxxx
Deepest sympathy to Margaret. Only hearing about Jim's passing now. Jim was a good friend and former colleague. May he rest in peace.
My heartfelt condolences to Jim’s family for the recent passing of Jim. I lived beside Jim’s sister Sally for 8 years and within our rapport I found that Sally was tremendously involved with her family. Jim, her youngest brother was always in her thoughts ( as were other members of her family). I wish Jim’s wife, my friend Sally and the whole family well.

Margaret, I was very sorry to hear of Jim’s death. I have very fond memories of our friendship in Windsor Drive. You were the first person to welcome Kate and I to the neighbourhood when we arrived. You and Jim were the focal point of the locality, regularly inviting neighbours to your home for beautifully prepared meals. I also enjoyed discussing books and going to night classes and films with Jim. It is very hard to believe that Jim and Kate are no longer with us. I really miss and will always have happy memories of those lovely times. My heart goes out to you in your sorrow. Please take good care of yourself. Philip
