Jim Fitzpatrick

May Jimmy rest in Peace . He was a close family member to my mam Annie Fitzpatrick. A name we often heard mentioned in our household growing up . I know his memory will be cherished by us all .

So sorry to hear about Jim. He was a true gentleman and a wonderful next-door neighbour - always good humoured, always helpful if needed and always engaging to converse with. Our deepest condolences.

I am very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a loyal supporter of the IVVCC and very proud of his career as a fireman. Jim was dependable and a regular supporter of motoring events run by fellow enthuasiasts. My first memory of Jim was at Powerscourt House about 30 years ago when he brought a Rolls Royce Silver Wraith to that event. He has attended many in his Morris Minor with his beloved wife Maureen. I chatted with him last year at Powerscourt with Maureen and Karen when he was seated at the gate to see the parade of cars coming and going.
Thank you Jim for being you and for your support. I offer my deepest condolences to Maureen, and daughter Karen and all who loved Jim. May he rest in peace... Tom Farrell (Past President IVVCC)

Jim & Maureen were the best neighbours to so many on O'Brien Road & always willing to help in times of need in such a humble manner that is so rare . I watched the beautiful funeral mass here in Perth & it was clear that Jim touched so many people with his acts of kindness through his work and in his retirement also.

I was so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. What a character he was! I’ll never forget the stories he told and the laughter we shared on O’Brien Road. He was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my family down through the years. His kindness and generosity was exemplary. May he rest in peace.
