My sincere condolences to Jim's family. Mr. Jim was a teacher you looked forward to seeing every day in school even if you weren't in his class. His kindness and humor resonated throughout the pres and his caring nature was one of a kind. He had time for everyone whether that was a quick exchange of banter in the hallway or a nice chat at lunch. It was a true pleasure to have known Jim and he will be sorely missed.

Having read the condolences from Jim's heartbroken students and colleagues I am reminded of a quotation from the famous psychologist, Carl Yung. He wrote 'One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child'. He could have been writing about our dear Mr. Jim.

Mr Jim was one of a kind. He was funny, kind and caring. He was the type of teacher whose classes you always looked forward to, he made maths fun. I’ve never met a teacher like him, he was outgoing and friendly to everyone and a huge part of our school. He will be dearly missed.
