So sorry to hear of Jim’s death. We were very good friends in our student days, in fact he served my First Mass way back in 1969. I visited his home in Ashbourne many times . In fact Maura might well remember me in those days . He was a man with a big heart and to his wife and son I send my deepest sympathies . May you rest in peace , Jim.

Noreen and Oisin,my sincere condolences on your great loss. I raised a cup of strong coffee in Jim's honour in the Dun Laoghaire office this morning. Unfortunately it was decaf (sorry Jim)
Apart from always knowing what was going on with both clients and staff, he had 3 great tools that made him a fantastic SPO, colleague and friend:
An ash plant( always threatned, never used)
A good cup of coffee
A great sense of humour
Sadly missed
