Deepest sympathy on the passing of a true gentleman and great Irish person who often placed service to his people and county above his own personal interests.A true statesman and patriot in the tradition of Arthur Griffith,Michael Collins and Enda Kenny. R I P
It was a pleasure to be in Jim's company at any time. He will be sorely missed by all who had the honour of knowing him in life

It was such a privilege to have known Jim so well. Before ever we knew we were related Jim was so very much part of our family since the fifties. While he had a lovely united family that he was proud of, his Garrymore family was very special and I know his twin Mick awaited for him with open arms as he arrived at the Golden gate. Sincere sympathies to all of his extended family. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
— Frank & Ann Kearney and family
You are in our thoughts and prayers, Auntie Kathleen,Mary and all the family. Although we cannot be with you in person, we are there in spirit. Uncle Jimmy will be greatly missed in our family. Given the many hurdles in life that he so graciously overcame, he was an inspiration of courage and strength throughout my life. It meant the world to Bob and I that Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Kathleen travelled all the way to St.Paul,Minnesota in order to be with us on our wedding day. We will all miss his presence in this world enormously - none more so than Auntie Kathleen and Mary. But, inspired in faith by Jimmy, we can only imagine his great get-together in heaven with Michael, Fr.Godfrey, Aunt Nora and his parents. God rest them all.
With love,
Bob,Aine,Robert and Keara Mickelson

So sorry to hear of Jim's death,a true gentleman.I'm sure he
will have a great welcome from his Garrymore friend,Mick,as they meet where all good people go and recall many of the
wins and disappointments with ''Garry'' as he called it.
