John, Matthew and I were very sad to hear of Jim's passing. He was greatly admired by and a good friend to my late Dad Tony Kelly (despite Dad being a Crusaders man).

I had the pleasure of trying to catch Jim on many of the Adidas Race Series in the runs in the Phoenix Park - needless to say despite being twenty years younger he beat me more times that not. Always a talent and a friendly face I will certainly miss Jim.

Rest in Peace Jim. A man of extreme generosity and absolute selflessness. You put everybody else before yourself. We will be ever in debited to you during the time Matt passed away. You spent all your time with him in the last few days of his life. May you now be rewarded with eternal life in the after, something you so richly deserve for all the good you did while with us.
