Sincere condolences to Jim's family on his recent passing. I have such happy memories of meeting Jim in the Sacred Heart Nursing Home every year when I brought my students from Gaelscoil de hÍde in to sing and play for the residents every Christmas. Jim always led the session with his accordion, bringing joy to young and old alike. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.Beidh ceol sna Flaithis anois.

I was deeply shocked by the news of his passing, He was a good friend back in the 80s and 90s when I played with Jim in Mc Loughlins of Drumsna nearly every Monday night for years and Jim always added to the session He was a lovely man and a great accordion player a very accomplished player may God be good to him
