He was a great Man getting up at all hours and making sure we all got safely to School

Sorry to hear about the passing of Jim, our school bus driver on the Ballinlough to BCS route. A gentleman who had a word for all and looked out for everyone. Rest in peace.

He used to collect us in Ballinlough Village on the big yellow bus.on snowy mornings I was the look out at the tap bar to see was he driving we would wait 10 to 15 minutes to see if he was coming if it went pass the 15 minute we all went home and had a free day .

Condolences to Ann, Tommy and all the extended family on the passing of Jimmy. I remember an incident, probably 1979, 80 when Jimmy was driving us on the school bus going through Clooncan, when suddenly there was a blow out on the right front tyre, the bus started to veer into the ditch but Jimmy, with great strength, determination and skill brought the bus safely to a halt, what a man! Rest In Peace, Jimmy.

Jim brought us on his yellow bus to ballyhaunis Cs over a 14 year period. He was a true gentleman. We used to have good fun and chats on the bus. Sympathy to all of his family. May he rest in peace.

Rip jim he was our bus driver to ballyhaunis community school.many a day especially a snowy one when we taught we get the day off we would see Jim’s yellow bus and there would be lovely language at the bus stop but apart from that we all loved Jim who was a pure gentleman

Very sorry to hear of Jims passing.He was our bus driver for 5 years from ballinlough to Ballyhaunis and always remember the craic we had with him . The journey was not have long enough
