I was very sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. Deepest condolences to the Cooke family. I have very fond memories of Jimmy's visits to Longford in the 70' and always looked forward to his company. We had great chats about horses and cars. What a great man. May he rest in peace.

So,so sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. Only heard the sad news a few minutes ago.
Jimmy got me my first car, later I was his ' groom' on a horse lorry on a trip through Europe.

Sincerest condolences to Jimmy's wife Angela and the entire Cooke family on the passing of a legend. I have known Jimmy going on 50 years and in that time i never heard him say a harsh word about anyone. A magician with difficult horses, a horse psychologist in away he enjoyed the challenge of turning them around. Missed him this year at Mullingar International.
Just so sad that he has now left us. The world is a lesser place witout him.
