With much sadness I heard today of the death of a great comrade and friend that I served with in the 30 Bn in Kilkenny. Jimmy was a great character. He was mischievous, funny, and had a great philosophical understanding of other people and particular the challenge of life that they may have struggled with. Many a person is living a life of peace and contentment today because of the presence of Jimmy in their lives. Rest well dear comrade, our lives have been all the better because of your presence. RIP.
