Jamie & Kylie, I am very sorry to hear about your Dad Jimmy. Thinking of you both and your Mam Angela, brothers Darren & Aaron and Jimmy's brother and grandchildren and extended family.

My Mam & Dad (Imelda & Liam, Pinebrook) used to talk about all the great times they had in the Malt House with Jimmy and the other characters back in the day! My Dad Liam passes on his condolences also. He told me a funny story about how one time many years ago he had a terrible bad headache, nothing could cure it, so he went to Jimmy in the chemist and he said "here, take this, if that doesn't work nothing will"... sure enough the headache went and Dad says he has never had another one since!!

I haven’t had any contact with Jimmy for years but I remember living across the road from him in Market Street. He worked in the chemist shop with his Dad and was always very approachable and obliging and a really nice guy. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
