I have very fond memories of Jimmy in our house, always smiling, my brother and I would always love to see him coming. On a bus right now after spending a few days in Tuam to bid farewell to Jimmy Man.
Just thinking of all the stories that were being shared around the town about the King himself and I have a fair few that I had to share too. My God , you could write a book about Jimmy and his adventures.
To see the turnout on both days says it all. It was heartbreaking watching his closest friends walk him out of the Cathedral in Tuam,these byes all so well togged out for their dear friend.
To Jimmy's parents and siblings, my sincerest condolences.

Jimmy was a cousin of mine. My father Pat Tuttle (who has passed) was always extremely fond of Jimmy. He would be very sadden by Jimmy's passing. I would say they were very similar in character hence why they got on so well. When I was younger (maybe 8 years of age) Jimmy came to stay with us for the summer. He was a few years older than me but he was very kind and always gave me the time of day, something not all teenagers would do. I lost contact with Jimmy when I moved abroad. Saw him briefly a few years back. He was a lovely fella and it is no surprise to me to read all these wonderful comments about what a gentleman he was. I can’t imagine what my aunty Ann and the rest of the Maguire family are going through. I send me deepest condolences but know they must be extremely proud of what a wonderful son/sibling Jimmy was. May he rest peace.

Still in shock that Jimmy has passed away. Such a character he was...always with that great big smile on his face.

In so many of our family photographs from Oranmore, Jimmy is grinning out from the picture. He was full of fun and an important part of my early childhood memories. I got to know Jimmy when we worked together for a short time some 20 years ago.
Nothing was too much for Jimmy and no matter the task there was always the fun and craic with it. Never did hear him playing that sax despite his promises to bring it up from Tuam.
