He was a pillar of the parish and a cherished presence in the lives of many, including mine. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the love he gave so freely, and in the hearts of all who had the honour to be in his life. Uncle Jimmy meant the world to all of us. He was a huge part of our lives particularly when we were living in Ireland and every visit before and after. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. I wish I had seen him in recent years, but those wonderful memories of our Uncle Jimmy and that mischievous but warm smile will never fade.
