A great friend from our time sitting together in primary school in the 60's, Puck fair's and pony racing in the 70's supporting Ireand 80'& 90's. Germany and Italy trips never to be forgotten. Following Everton through good times and bad. Many a good laugh over a pint. It was a pleasure to be your friend . Rest in peace JIMMY.

Words simply cannot express the heartache of losing such a good friend. Jimmy has given me stories and memories that bind Ireland and Germany together. I will be forever grateful and will keep his connections and traditions going, for as long as I can.
It was an honour and a privilege to be involved with the organising of Jimmy's funeral and to be treated like one of the family.

My best wishes to Jimmy's family. I followed the funeral on stream. To late I got the message of Jimmy's death. Remember the times in Flittard in Cologne, the visits at Jimmy's two homes: his house and the Talbot. My thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy and his family. I'm sure, we will drink a pint of Guinness or a Kölsch together when we meet in heaven again.

A sound out bloke and a gentleman, I always enjoyed having great chats with him whenever I met him, whether it was where I work, on the street or in the Talbot where he worked. A big Everton fan but I never once held it against him!!
