So sad to hear of Jimmy's death. I have very fond memories of Jimmy as a child, his sister Miriam being my very good friend. He was always laughing and full of fun. One such memory is of the laughs Miriam and I had traipsing through the fields on their farm, down to paddle in the Blackwater with Jimmy and little Greg, whom I had to piggyback on the way home..and then loosing his sandle along the way! Poor Steve was too young to bring along. My deepest condolances to his wife and children and to Ann, Miriam, Bernie, Michael, Peter, Greg and Steve. May he rest in peace.

Very saddened and shocked to hear of the death of Jimmy first meet Jimmy all those years ago when he uses to come to mass in Rathmolyon on Sunday, I use to serve and do door boy. We were to exchange address They use to come to mass in a good old Ford Zephyr maroon cream. Those where the days not like now when most cars on the road are either a Quashie or a Audi.
