Sincere condolences to all the Flynn family, especially Gillian, on the passing of JJ. May he rest in peace.

I was not surprised to hear that JJ Flynn’s celebration of life was nearly a bank holiday. Certainly, it was an event befitting the man, Mulingar will never forget good ol’ JJ.

I do know this, JJ Flynn left an indelible mark on my life. I want all the Flynn’s to know how much I love him. JJ will forever live on in my heart.

I have little memories of him tucked away and I pull them out often. JJ treated me with such kindness. The first time I met him was way back in ‘98, I was visiting Lorraine in Mullingar for the first time. I was standing awkwardly in their cozy kitchen., I was nervous m to meet JJ—the patriarch. Luckily, my nerves dissolved as JJ quietly sidled up to where I was pretending to read the paper and we read it together and chuckled about silly things. He made me feel at ease and I instantly loved him. His kindness in that moment is something I’ll never forget . I want all the Flynn’s to know that JJ that JJ was , in many ways, like a second Father to me.

Bridget: I was so sad to hear about the death of JJ. A very quiet gentle soul. Always a smile on his face and a quiet word to say. Thinking of you Brigie and your family at this very sad time.

I never actually met JJ or Bridget, however I felt that I knew them from Lorraine's tales and fabulous photos, with so much Love 💕

Sincere and heartfelt condolences to all the Flynn family on the very sad passing of J.J. I especially his dear wife Bridie, daughter’s Lorraine and Gillian, his son Ray, sisters Jeanette and Maura, brothers Gene and Liam and the extended Flynn and Boyce families. J.J. was a former nursing colleague of mine in St. Loman’s hospital for many years and I found him to be a loyal and trustworthy colleague. May he rest in everlasting peace.
