I deeply regret the passing of J J to his Eternal Place where he will rest in the Peace he deserves and extend my sincerest sympathy to Margaret and family on your sad loss.I was privilaged to know JJ as a friend since 1955 and team colleague with Limerick Minor footballers in 1956, it was a pleasure to renew friendships when we met in 2016, times change but memories don't fade.

A staunch GAA man who was hugely proud of his native Limerick. John, I’m so sorry for your terrible loss. JJ was such a lovely man and I have such great memories of him in Kenny’s & Courtney’s - always ready to offer a seat at the bar, keeping everyone entertained with another story and giving tips on the racing or a match. He adored you, Daragh and your mam and I know he’ll be greatly missed.
