Am really sad today, to hear of Josehine's death. We were all in a gang of friends growing up.in Athlone and always had such fun.

I first met Jo back in 1990 when Deirdre and I started the set dancing in the Àras. We would go on the Thursday night and then the social night on Friday.

Jo along with Ted, Vaughan and Harry Christopher were all most welcoming. Always a smile. For Seven years we had great craic. Go raibh maith agat Jo.

What a lovely person Jo was--so warm, kind, hospitable, with a delicious dash of mischief. We'll all miss her so much. She was the loveliest of people and there is an Aunty Jo-shaped hole in our family now. The world is sadder for it, but we were so lucky to have her. What a wonderful woman! Deepest sympathies to Ted, the boys, and all of Jo's family. This is (and has been) such a tough time. Giant hugs to you all.
