My sincere condolences to Joan’s family. As well as being a fine choral singer herself, Joan was tremendously friendly to and supportive of all musicians, and her enthusiasm and encouragement were greatly appreciated. Thank you, Joan, and enjoy heaven’s music.
May Joan rest in peace.
Joan worked with my dad Trevor in the Standard Life and I remember her being a lovely friendly lady who always came in to say hello when I was in the office with Dad.
Condolences to all her family.
Sincere condolences on the death of Joan. I have many happy memories of meeting her with my late husband Alan at Standard Life and musical events, a charming lady, Rosemarie Ashe
Our condolences with the passing of Joan in Dublin. Most memories of cousin Joan are of her cheerful disposition and always “music centred”! Her intelligence and quick wit was a Cowle trait. She will be sadly missed by her many musical friends in the local community. Rest in Peace.

I knew Joan through Feis Ceoil. She was a lovely lady, always kind, and in good humour. She gave generously of her time and was ready to help without making a fuss. Singing now with choirs of angels. RIP Joan.
My condolences to Joan’s family and friends on the loss of a remarkable woman. I only knew Joan through our singing alto together in the
Guinness Choir, just one of her many involvements in the musical world. May there still be music for her now that she has left this world
I was saddened to hear Joan’s passing, a wonderful and generous spirit who gave so much of herself to Feis Ceoil over many years. Condolences to Joan's family & friends. I enjoyed many chats with her at Gascoigne House when there visiting my own family. An most engaging lady, kind, witty & talented. Her apt turn of phrase gave us many giggles. Involved & interested to the last... RIP & goodbye Joan, she will be very sadly missed.
