I was deeply saddened to hear of Joan's passing. She was a wonderful lady, a great colleague and a pleasure to work with. She always had a good story to tell and was great company. She will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences.

Over the past few years, I came to know Joanie at work. She was beautiful inside and out, an uber-fabulous lady and a vivacious whirlwind that sweep through the office...always smiling, sharing a joke, a funny story or lending an ear to listen.

There are not enough words to describe how special and unique Joan was, and what a character she was. I will miss her very much, she was one in a million.

Have just been told about Joan's passing. Joan was always so caring and loving. Always had a smile and a story to help brighten your day. One of life's wonderful people who will be sadly missed.

Just heard the sad news. I worked with Joan for the past 2 years and she was very well liked and respected by all. Rest in peace Joan.

So sad to hear of Joan's passing. Joan was always a Vibrant, Stylish, and Funny Lady. She was such a breathe of fresh air when she came to visit us here in Co Clare. A wonderful caring person that will be so sadly missed.

I am so very saddened to hear the news of Joan's death. I worked with Joan in Keating and interviewed her for the role of PA back in 2018. She was so fun and friendly, always had great stories to tell and had a massive love for her horses. She was so thoughtful, many a time she bought me a scarf or earnings that she thought may suit me or a cook book of my favourite restaurant. Gentle soul.
She will be sadly missed.

My sincere condolences to the family of Joan. I lived with Joan, Elaine and Nuala in London in 1996 and had some of the most memorable times of my life, which I will never forget. There was never a dull moment when Joan was around, she was beautiful, vibrant and always up for a laugh, she will be sadly missed.

Sincere condolences to all the family. I was lucky to become friends with Joan over 40 years ago, and although we saw one another intermittently over the years she remained a true friend. Joan was warm and funny, supportive and open hearted, stylish and beautiful, wild and wonderful; a true character. She is missed by all who were lucky to know her.

Joan was the first person I met and made friends with as a new immigrant from America. She took on the tasks of making sure I was legal, had a place to live, met all the colleagues (and how to buy the first round for them at the pub) and learned the culture of my new country and job. Joan was not only the epitome of elegance and style, she was unfailingly kind and generous of spirit, wholly professional, and made me feel welcome so far from home. There wasn't a selfish bone in her body; there is-- for sure-- a place in heaven for her.
