Wonderful memories of us singing with Cor Baile an Easpaig for many years and the great fun we had singing in the Cork Choral festival. Unfortunately I was away and couldn't attend Joan's funeral. We were very sad to hear about Joan.
We lived near each other for almost 47 years, but it was during COVID that we really got to know her intimately,and I looked forward to our daily chats and laughs around the park.

I was heartbroken to hear of Joan's passing. Though I may not have known her personally, I have always heard such wonderful things about her warmth and kindness. She was truly a remarkable person who touched the lives of many.
