Joan would have been so proud of you all and how you
honoured her memory so gracefully. It was a warm and very
meaningful ceremony, a wonderful tribute to Joan.

We have been neighbours of Pat and Joan in Ashbrook
Grove in Limerick since the 1980s. We have always enjoyed
their kindness and good company. Joan was forever bright
and forthcoming with ideas – suggestions on activities for
the family, things to do, sharing her experiences, our
children growing up together.

We valued Joan’s warm advice and her friendship, and we
will miss her greatly. Our memory of Joan is something we
will always treasure.
