I am deeply saddened by the passing of Joan. She was not only a remarkable lady but also my LIGHT in difficult times, and just her presence had the power to make me feel HAPPY. I will always cherish her sense of humor. It was an honor to care for her. In the time I was taking care of her, she gave me more than I could ever give in return. She shared her wisdom, strength, and taught me lessons I will carry with me FOREVER. She gave me experiences that shaped me, and I will always hold those memories close to my heart. Her legacy of strength and kindness will live in all of us who were touched by her life.

Such happy memories of the Cullen's visits to Wexford. John out kicking ball or throwing frisbee in the garden. Joan being the glam aunt, and how cross she'd look when dad would inevitably rile her up about something (and then sit back and laugh at her getting cross). Also remember her amazing chicken dinner which was tried to be replicated in Wexford....and did not taste as nice at all!

Now i have visions of John kicking ball or throwing frisbee with Daniel. And dad, Marie and Joan sitting around the table with their parents having a good old catch up.
