Condolences to Mary Lo and all of Joan's family. A life well lived. She had a great love for her birth place the Rotunda. Her generosity knew no bounds.Full of energy and love. Rest in peace Joan
Joan was such a wonderful neighbour. She turned our little section of Kincora Road from being a mere address into a neighbourhood. She was the first to ask me in for a cup of tea after I moved in; she was able to tell me the whole history of the road because she and her parents were some of its first residents; on bin day she would leave our bins back to us after they had been emptied; and any help she could provide you, she would. In this day and age when everyone seems so isolated in their own little worlds, having someone like Joan live nearby really made one feel part of a community - and that was a lovely feeling. I will miss her and all she brought to her neighbours on Kincora Road. My sincere condolences to Mary Lou and family.

Sister Dillon. May you rest in peace. I worked with you on night duty and you were the kindest , warmest person that anyone would want to meet at any stage of their labour or delivery. You gave comfort and reassurance to both women and staff. A pleasure to have known you.
