I learned about this sad news a few nights ago from Ginger. God rest her soul. From what I know, Joan lived a very full life while here with us and is loved and will be missed by many. I for one will say that Joan had an incredible positive impact on my life. RIP my dearest cousin Joan Keane.

We were all so sad to hear of Joan's passing. She was such a good and kind friend to my mam, Betty. She never forgot Dónal, Cliodhna or David's birthday, every year, no matter what.
She was a formidable woman of intellectual strength and physical determination and her great legacy to each of us, is kindness and love.
