Our friendship with Joan & Bill go back many years and as far back as when they both lived in New York and New Jersey before they moved home again. We knew their beloved son, the late Michael Kennedy RIP. May Joan rest in peace. She was a wonderful friend to us.

I often chatted to Joan in the church when visiting Newcastle. There were long lasting links between the Kennedy's and the Hackett's in particular with my Dad Frey and Auntie Mary in the USA.
