Yvonne , Vivienne and all the family. I just happened to go into RIP and was shocked to see your absolutely beautiful, kind and gentle Mum has passed away a few weeks ago. I am so saddened. We have exchanged Christmas greetings for many years until a few years ago. I see her lovely smile so clearly in my mind even though it is so many years ago since we met. I will cherish her memory always. My deepest condolences to all of you and eternal happiness to your Mum.

Joan’s kindness and thoughtfulness towards all the children in Scoil Aonghusa will be fondly remembered.

I spent many afternoons sitting in the office with Joan waiting to be collected if I was ‘sick’! Joan was always kind to all the pupils of Scoil Aonghusa. Condolences to her family and friends.

Joan was a kind and caring person. She always looked out for others and put their needs before hers. She was so kind to me in primary school and when she retired, she gave me a very special teddy bear whom I call Sandy. Every Easter holiday began with Joan giving me an Easter egg.
She will be dearly missed by me and many others and I will treasure all the lovely memories I have of her.
