Rip Joan. You were an inspiration to us all. I always remember the Children's mass, the stations of the cross and you certainly added the drama to all occasions. No doubt you will keep an eye on Sallynoggin!!!! Rest in Peace.
sincere sympathy on the sad passing of Joan, I worked with Joan for many years in Lourdes with the Dublin Diocesan Pilgrimage and have many happy memories she was a wonderful persons, and will be sadly missed. Phyllis - Hilary - Alyson Burke.
So sad to hear of Joan's passing. Sincere condolences to all her family. She was one of the best teachers I had growing up from teaching me how to read at Mass, to acting out the stations of the cross and the nativity for many happy years in Sallynoggin Parish not to mention all the great skills she taught us through the Summer Project years. Joan was a unique individual, truly gifted in so many things - her sewing skills were amazing - she made a beautiful Debs dress for me and even dyed my shoes to match the dress - but mostly I will always remember Joan for her energy, creativity and kindness. Thank you Joan for teaching us so much and for being so generous with your time to Sallynoggin Parish. Rest in Peace. xx
Joan was the best neighbour anybody could ask for. She was so kind and thoughtful. She made my communion dress and debs dress. I loved her dearly and she will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Joan. You will be well looked after in heaven. You deserve it. xx
