Sincere condolences to Paud and the Lavelle family on the loss of Joan. Such a wonderful lady, and a tremendously important friend to my mother Margaret (and my late father Brendan) over many many years.

We knew that Mum's daily phone call with Joan was not something that could be interrupted and were often told that "I have to go as Joan is likely to call any minute"

She will greatly miss those calls.

Kind, generous, funny and warm, Joan was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by all who met her.
