Auntie Joan was such a wonderful, kind person and will be sadly missed. I have lovely childhood memories of spending time at the family farm in Gallows Hill. Uncle Christy taught me how to milk a cow and drive his tractor, and Auntie Joan’s cooking and baking were always plentiful and delicious. Her warm smile, gentle nature, and kindness were just some of her many beautiful qualities.
It was a magical place to spend a day or a weekend with all the family. I fondly remember walking to Mass in Cratloe together, followed by a big, delicious meal.
Rest in peace, Auntie Joan. Love always, your nephew David.
