Joan McGreevy

I have just returned from holiday and heard of Joan’s passing . My deepest sympathies to her Partner and all the family . I have very fond memories of Joan from our Manor House days she was a lovely, kind and gentle lady . May she rest in peace .

I heard the sad news of Joan's death today. We enjoyed great walks and chats in the Botanic Gardens at lunch time. Joan was very very caring and helpful to all in Enterprise Ireland. I called to her home when I heard she was ill and we had a good chat. Joan always had a remarkably positive attitude.The last time I was with Joan was for a walk with Pat O' Connor. I will treasure my memories. My sincere condolences to Joan's family and may Joan rest in peace.

I went to Joan's yoga class in EI, and she was an inspirational teacher. We became 'strong warriors' at every class. She was the loveliest lady so kind and gentle. Sincere sympathy to Joan's family and friends especially Gérard and her sisters Helen and Claire. I spent 3 weeks in Joan's company on a wonderful yoga trip to India in 2019. She's one of the loveliest people I've ever met, kind, gentle and fun and I feel lucky to have had that time with her. May she rest in peace

Joan has been a librarian in the Library of the Court of Justice of the European Communities, as it was called at the time, in Luxembourg, from 1992 to 1994. This is how we met. Very fast, a good and lasting friendship developed. Joan invited me to visit her in Dublin and we undertook common trips to Berlin and Poland. Whenever she visited Luxembourg we met up, enjoyed a drink and a meal and talked. It has always been a great pleasure to be in Joan's company. She was such a lovely, caring person! I was very sad when I received the news of her passing away. May she rest in peace.

I first met Joan in the 1980s when she came to work in the CTT Library. We worked together in Enterprise Ireland for many years. She was a wonderful colleague, who made lovely roulades for 'special' birthdays. She will be forever missed by her family and all whose lives she touched.
