Dear Joanie, I had forgotten that you and I were Godparents to my sister Lorraine but have not forgotten the many,many happy and indelible memories of you from the time when you first lived in Walkinstown and later moved to Marino. I remember you teaching me how to bake chocolate flans ( for which I have never lost the taste!). Also as one of The Crescendos with Brendan, Stephen and my brother Pat, rehearsing in your front parlour the songs of The Beatles, Hollies and Kinks. You were one of life's nicest and most decent human beings. May you rest in peace.
