Dear Tanya and Family,

I was deeply heartbroken to hear about the unexpected passing of your dear mum, Joan. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this incredibly difficult time. Joan was such a kind, loving, and beautiful soul, and I feel so grateful to have known her.

I cannot imagine the pain you must be feeling, but I hope you find some comfort in the cherished memories you shared and the love she brought to your lives. Her warmth and kindness will forever be remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

If there’s anything I can do to support you or your family, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here for you now and always.

Our deepest condolences to Tanya, Henry, Fergus, Allen, grandsons, Fr. John, Denis and the extended O' Brien and O' Shea families and her many friends. I was saddened to hear of Joan's untimely passing who was a first cousin to my late father. A fond childhood memory I recall of Joan was on one occasion when I visited O' Shea's shop, I ordered my usual 'fix' of sweets. I placed my coins on the counter top and she swiftly returned them back again to me. She made my day! It's clear that from all the lovely tributes that have been paid to Joan she indeed made everyone's day!
