I was very sorry to hear of Joan's passing. R.I.P. Her death was briefly announced at mass on Sunday but I wasn't sure it was the 'Joan' I knew and respected -- while hoping it wasn't. Only an hour ago (Thurs Feb 24th) did I learn the truth when I went on line once again to get information on Joan. (The sad thing is I was at the 9 o'clock mass on Tuesday morning without realizing there would be a funeral mass an hour or two later for Joan...which I would have attended)
My sympathy is with the O'Brien family. I will not forget Joan and I will always remember her in my prayers
