Dear Libby, Brendan and Anne- Marie, it was with great sadness I heard of the passing of Joan. She was an amazing woman and a great friend of my mom, Peg. We all have fond memories of long play dates in your back garden as we waited for an end to a competitive game of cards. The holidays in Ballyheigue are strongly etched in my mind. She will now be able to play cards with her beloved Brendan, Peg and Patrice on the big green card table in the sky. Our faith tells us we will meet again. May Joan Rest in Peace after a wonderful innings. Love Mark & Charmaine, Paige and Ethan in Joburg as well as Dominique and John Bolton in Rush.
As l said to Anne-Marie, "l recognise quality". RIP Joan. Thinking of you all.
