It is with great sadness that I learn of my Auntie Joan's passing. Joan will always hold for me such fond memories of a childhood in Fairview surrounded by a unique community and spirit that she was very much part of. A real force of nature, her energy for a song was unparalleled and her love and strength for her family had no boundaries. Will take some comfort knowing her passing was peaceful and one of grace, no doubt fully aware how blessed she was to have such a loving family.

I also loved hearing all about her dancing days, whenever I caught you mum in the garden on my way home of an evening, she would share a story or two.
