It has been my pleasure and honour to get to know Joan over the last 30 years. I always enjoyed meeting her and especially hearing her stories, of growing up over the shop. She never complained in spite of years of ill health and carried her illness with dignity and courage. She has so richly earned her peace after her courage in this life. May she rest in peace
