I spent some time across from Joanna in hospital, in that short time I realised what a beautiful person she was and had such a loving family and friends. I’m so sorry to learn of her passing my heartfelt sympathies to you all 🙏

I knew Joanna when she lived in the UK through our mutual friend, Sheira Fox. What I remember most about her is her laughter. Although I didn’t know her closely, my heart goes out to her family, especially Keith and Rosa, and to her dear friend, Sheira, and to Sheira’s husband and children, who cared for Joanna so deeply.

She touched many lives, including mine, and I know many people will miss her profoundly. The world is a poorer place without her.

I will do my best to attend the funeral online from Denver, USA.

Sending love and strength to Keith, Rosa, Eoin and to the many friends and colleagues deeply saddened by the loss of dear Joanna.
I worked alongside Joanna in Tallaght. It was there that many friendships were formed and have remained solid to this day.
In Tallaght we celebrated every birthday and every little “win” over tea, delicious cake and sweet treats baked by Joanna.
We were extremely fortunate to share such an important moment in Joanna’s life, when she learned she was pregnant with dear Rosa. Joanna was beyond joyous. We shared in her immense excitement.
Joanna, Keith and Rosa were such a tight-knit family with an unbreakable bond, with shared love and respect of each other. A family dynamic many would be envious of.
Being around Joanna was like receiving a warm hug. There was a sense of calmness when she was present. Joanna was a beautiful woman in every sense. She was intelligent, confident, strong, she was kind, supportive and a great listener.
I am truly blessed to have had Joanna in my life and to have shared many laughs with her that would often leave our faces sore. Someone so special will never be forgotten. I will cherish every wonderful memory. Rest in peace Joanna x

Joanna was an integral and treasured member of St. Joseph of Cluny Killiney Parent Council.
